Meet Jack Apparel Pro Chad Sewell: Texas-Built, Tour-Tested
At Jack Apparel, we’ve always believed golf should feel a little less stiff, a little more real, and a whole lot more fun. The game is better when it has personality. When the polos fit right. When the post-round stories are almost as good as the scorecard. And when the people representing the brand actually live the game the right way.
That’s why we’re fired up to introduce Chad Sewell, a Texas golfer, Korn Ferry Tour player, and official Jack Apparel sponsored pro.
Chad is from Conroe, Texas, played college golf at UTSA before finishing his fifth year at Sam Houston State, and now competes professionally with Korn Ferry Tour status. His official PGA TOUR profile lists him as playing from Sam Houston State University with ties to Conroe, Texas.
In other words, this isn’t some random logo-on-a-shirt deal. Chad is exactly the kind of guy we want wearing Jack: Texas roots, serious game, and no need to act like golf has to be boring.
A Texas Golf Story Worth Following
Chad’s golf story starts in Conroe, where he built the foundation that eventually took him through college golf and into the pro ranks. His Sam Houston State profile lists him as a graduate student from Conroe, Texas, with previous stops at Conroe High School and UTSA.
Before Sam Houston, Chad played at UTSA, where his Roadrunners bio highlighted a strong junior golf résumé, including being ranked among the top players in Texas by Golfweek, multiple junior wins, and strong finishes in major amateur events.
That matters to us because Jack Apparel was built with the same Texas golf mentality: compete hard, have a good time, and don’t overcomplicate it.
We didn’t start this brand to make another overpriced polo for guys who take themselves way too seriously. We started it because golf apparel needed more attitude, better quality, and a brand that actually felt like the people you want in your foursome.
Chad fits that perfectly.
Competing on the Korn Ferry Tour
Chad currently competes on the Korn Ferry Tour, one of the toughest proving grounds in professional golf. For players chasing the PGA TOUR, the Korn Ferry Tour is where serious careers are built.
So far this season, Chad has already stacked up strong international finishes, including:
- T-23 at The Panama Championship
- T-9 at the Visa Argentina Open
- T-8 at the Astara Chile Classic
Those are not casual “good week” finishes. That’s real momentum against a field full of hungry players trying to climb to the next level.
PGA TOUR’s official Korn Ferry Tour profile for Chad lists his tournament profile, stats, results, and career information, while ESPN also tracks his tournament results and finishes.
And for Jack Apparel, that’s what makes this partnership exciting. Chad isn’t just representing us at the range. He’s competing, traveling, grinding, and putting in the work on a tour where every round matters.
From College Golf to the Pro Game
Chad’s college path says a lot about him. He played at UTSA, then finished his fifth year at Sam Houston State, where he also earned his MBA.
That combination is hard not to respect.
Golf at a high level already demands discipline. Add in graduate school, travel, competition, and the pressure of trying to build a professional career, and you get a pretty clear picture of who Chad is: focused, competitive, and built for the grind.
That also lines up with the kind of athlete we want representing Jack Apparel. We’re not looking for country club mannequins. We’re looking for players with game, work ethic, and personality.
Why Chad Sewell and Jack Apparel Make Sense
Jack Apparel was founded by five friends from Texas who were tired of golf apparel that was either wildly overpriced, boring as hell, or looked like it was made for your dad’s member-guest in 2007.
We wanted to build something better:
Premium golf apparel. Fair prices. Better fits. Texas attitude.
Chad brings that same energy.
He’s a Texas guy.
He plays at a serious level.
He understands competition.
And when he’s off the course, he’s not pretending to be some polished golf robot.
When Chad isn’t competing, he enjoys grilling, smoking meat, and hanging out with friends and family. That’s about as on-brand as it gets.
Because Jack Apparel has never been just about what you wear during the round. It’s about the whole day: the early tee time, the side bets, the cart banter, the birdie that absolutely should have been an eagle, the post-round beer, and the backyard grill session afterward.
That’s golf the way we like it.
What Chad Represents for Jack Apparel
Sponsoring a pro golfer is not just about putting a logo on someone’s shirt.
For us, Chad represents where Jack Apparel is going.
We’re a Texas-born golf apparel brand, but we’re not thinking small. We’re building something that can compete nationally — polos, hats, and performance golf apparel that guys actually want to wear on and off the course.
Chad gives us a guy to root for on the professional stage. Someone who brings Texas golf with him wherever he tees it up.
That means when Chad is out there competing, Jack is out there too.
Not in a stiff, corporate, “please enjoy our brand values” kind of way.

Follow Chad’s Season
We’re proud to have Chad Sewell representing Jack Apparel, and we’ll be following his season closely as he continues competing on the Korn Ferry Tour.
You can follow Chad on Instagram at @chad_sewell_10, and you can also keep up with his tournament profile through his official PGA TOUR and ESPN pages.
Around here, we’ll be cheering him on the Jack way:
Texas loud.
Golf obsessed.
Slightly unreasonable about birdies.
Always dressed better than the group behind us.
Welcome to the Jack family, Chad.
Now let’s go make some noise.
